Meijer has a relatively new program called MPerks.
You register using your cell phone number, confirm the code they text to you, and then you can "load" e-coupons to your account and they will come off automatically when you buy the required items!

What am I buying this week?
People always ask me - "So - what are you buying this week? Tell me the deals!"
I did a lot of shopping last week, so I'm gonna try a "low key" week and spend less time shopping. I am shooting for only "buying" free things that we use, things we need, and "moneymakers" (these are things that are more than free!) to use or donate.
So - here's my list for this week:

A few new "Perks"
I am working on a few new features that will make it easier to share my blog with your friends.
There's a button to the right where you can share on Facebook.
I am also in the process of getting Feedburner set up so you can get updates in your email.
And hopefully my blog posts will begin to show up on my Facebook page.
Wish me luck - I have no clue what I'm doing here!

2010 Summary of Totals
I DID IT!!
My goal was to spend under $1800 - I spent a net of $1708.47 (My actual spending minus the rebates I received). I am still waiting on $143.91 in rebates - if I had gotten those before the end of the year my net numbers would have been $1564.56!!
I have found that keeping the blog helps me realize how much I have spent each month. I've decided to challenge myself again for 2011 - but to $1500 for the entire year! That's $125 a month - or less than $32 per week. I think I can do it! I have quite a stockpile of shelf and freezer stable foods to get me going. I am also involved in a grocery budget challenge on one of the coupon sites I frequent.
Here's a monthly summary of numbers for 2010 (since I need to clear the right column to put 2011 numbers in):
